Mia loves frozen blueberries. She also likes to show her face after eating blueberry.

Help with Housework

Aiden got pigg bank for Christmas and he has been making some money by helping mommy with house work such as washing dishes, cleaning floors, putting laundry away. These are the pictures he was on his all fours to clean the entry floor.

 

Dental Floss Learning Experience

Mia's school invited dental hygenist to her classroom and showed kids how to floss and clean the teeth. They stuck a gum in the jumbo Lego and asked kids to pretend that was teeth and flosses them. What a great idea!

Indoor Playground

This indoor playground is a great place for kids during the brutal Indiana winter. It has many playsets and also basketball hoops. It also has trampoline and that is the most favoriate for kids to bounce and get off some winter "blues".

 

Mia's Snapshots at Daycare

Mia's daycare started using tadpole application and we can see her daily report by email along with her pictures. It is a great way to keep us informed of her daily life at daycare.

Hat Day!

Mia showed off all her winter hat for Mommy to snap some pictures before we headed off to daycare.

Mia Got Invited to Aiden's Friend's B-day Party

This is Mia's first time to go other kids' party except Aiden's. She is almost the youngest at the party but it didn't stop her to have fun and enjoy pizza and cake. In fact she was the last to leave the party table to finish all of her cake as older kids were too anxious to get out to play.

 

Mia's New Bed

After spending 3 years in her lovely crib, she is finally moving out and moves on the big girl crib. Aiden got a little jealous as Mia's is full size but his is only twin size. But after we told him that his is like race car, he seemed to settle down.

Breakfast in the Gingerbread House

There is a giant gingerbread house in the lobby. The decoration was done with real cookies and candies. We are lucky to get a reservation to have our breakfast in it. It was quite neat to eat there.

Magic Quest Games

This is an interactive game and both kids got their own wand to pretend to be wizards. We didn't activate Mia's wand as she was quite young to play the game but she still liked to point at things. Aiden still needed all the help to search for things. It was also quite exercise as we had to go up and down stairs all the time even though we didn't finish the game which might require at least one full day, Aiden still enjoyed to wave his wands ad watch what happens. Mia was just happy to check out things.

Water Park in the Lodge

The first day and second day we did water park for a few hours. we did waves, kid slides, water basketball and hot tub. Both kids loved to jump over the waves. It is Mia's first time to get in the real pool. She wasn't quite comfortable when her feet can't touch bottom of the pool but by the second day, she loved to float and "swim" back and forth between Daddy and Mommy in hot springs.
