Mia loves to climb on the playground. She had no fears over things. Unlike Aiden she jumps into things right away before any observation.

It Is Zoo Time Again

The weather is gorgeous over the weekend. Perfect time to go and see some animals in zoo again. We spent quite a bit time in bird section this time as kids loved to watch them walk around and get fed.

First Field Trip from School

Aiden had his first field trip in the kindergarten. They went to Stuckey farm and tasted different kinds of apples and also apple cider. Aiden came home and told us that red apple is sweet, green apple is sour.

Carnival in Zionsville Lions Park

A big pleasant surprise on Sunday in lions park is a carnival that Mom didn't even know. Kids did school bus ride, tea cup like spinner, bouncing house. Aiden also made some crafts. We did a colored sand football together. Aiden said he had a lot of fun.

Nice Day at Lions Park

Sunday weather is so perfect. We spent nearly whole day in lions park. Mia's climbing skills has improved quite a bit. She can climb the big dinosaur bone by herself but need assistance to get down. She likes to copy whatever Aiden does.

Play with Puppy

Aiden's piano teacher got a 6-week old poodle puppy. Aiden LOVED to play with him. He was so gentle with the puppy, held him on his lap and pat him. The puppy also wanted Aiden's attention. Aiden put him back to dog bed and the puppy crawled out of the bed and crawled back to his lap. So cute!!

Mommy's Little Dinosaur

We spent nearly whole day at Children's museum on Labor Day. Even though we go there quite often, kids still can't have enough of it. Mia requested Mommy to put Dino vest and paws on and pretended she was a Mommy Dino and protecting her eggs.

Lego Superhero

Aiden is a big fun of superhero Lego set. He got a captain America set this Saturday with 172 pieces. With very little help from mommy: two steps (one step to snap two pieces together, one step to reverse a couple of pieces), he followed through the instructions book and finished building it in 1.5 hours. 

Who is Going to School

We got out of the house pretty early on the second day of Aiden's new school. So we decided to walk Aiden to the school bus stop in the neighborhood. Mia was also very excited for a morning walk carrying her daycare backpack. This is also her first week at preschool. She is having some rough time to adjust from in home setting to preschool. Aiden was also happy to run to the bus stop and loved to play the first grader Liam in our neighborhood while waiting for bus.

First Homework

Aiden brought home a yellow folder that is for teacher and parent communication. One side is "return to school" which had daily homework. One side is "keep at home" which had some work he did at school. We need to do initial every night on the calendar in the folder. He did fine job on his first day homework. Mommy helped about 3 words on the reading part. He came out the answer himself but needed help from mommy for spelling.

First Day Picture in Kindergarten Room

We received a picture from Aiden's teacher on the first day. Kids gave two thumbs up in the picture. It took mommy a while to find Aiden among 25 kids. He looked very happy. P.S. Aiden is the one standing next to number 1 on the rug.

First Day of Kindergartener

It is hard to believe that my little boy starts kindergarten today. He has been excited to go to K since we took tour to school as he saw that he could go to cafeteria and eat, play in the gym, and play computer in the media room. All four of us came to the bus stop in the neighborhood this morning and waited for the bus together. We watched our little boy carrying his new backpack and getting on the school bus. Wish you have a great first day at kindergarten, my little boy!!!
