Mia's First Movie

We took Aiden to his first movie in the movie theater when he was around 4 and we watched turbo movie about snail races cars. The day after Thanksgiving, we also took Mia to her first trip to movie theater and we watched penguin Madagascar. She did really well and only stood up a couple of times during the movie. She giggled a lot when the penguins was acting funny.

Happy Birthday Daddy

We celebrated Daddy's b-day today. The big question from Aiden was why there was only one candle on the cake. The answer is we will need a big cake to hold all candles for Daddy's age. Kids loved ice cream cake. Aiden was a little upset as he has celebrated both Daddy and Mia's b-day and can't wait for his b-day.

Our Christmas Decorations

After nearly 2 hours work and two broken ornaments, we finally finished our Xmas decorations. We ended up 4 trees: one in family room, one in living room, one in each kid's room.

Mommy and Aiden's First Gingerbread House

Aiden usually made gingerbread house at daycare every year. But since this year he is in school now, we decided to make our own gingerbread house. We had to wait until Mia took nap otherwise she would eat them all. LOL. It took us 2.5 hours to finish the work. Aiden enjoyed decorating the house and his snow man and also enjoyed the candies we used for decoration. We ended up using some colored cereal to replace some eaten candies.

Aiden's Thanksgiving Feast at School

Aiden celebrated the Thanksgiving on Tuesday and kids had blast in the feast. Aiden was an American Indian and he told us that the Indians taught Pilgrim how to plant. :)

Gingerbread Cookies for Santa

It is our first time to bake gingerbread cookies for Santa. Aiden helped with mixing the dough, rolling the dough, cutting the cookies and decorating them. Mia helped with cutting one cookie, decorating some and eating some. At the end, we ended up with a pan of "monsters" cookies.

Fun Time at Chuck and Cheese

We took Mia to chuck and cheese as both kids love to play games there and Mia also likes the ride. At the end each kid got some small toys by exchanging the tickets they won from playing the game.

I Am 3 Today!!

Our little Mia turns 3 today. Time has flied by. It felt like yesterday when we took her home from hospital. She is about 39 inches tall and 32lbs. She is almost 1.5 inches taller than Aiden was at 3.

Bday Cake and Presents - Happy 3rd Birthday

Mia is quite into Winnie the Pooh right now. So we got her a really cute pooh cake. She couldn't keep her eyes off the cake and kept sneaking her finger into cream before the candle and bday song. She got the corner piece with bumble bee and that caused some tears as Aiden also wanted that piece. But that didn't last long as the present time was shortly after. She got a Cinderella castle Lego set and abacus from us and jumbo Lego, remote controlled puppy from Grandparents Zeigler. The kids loved chasing the puppy around the house.

Aiden had art class once a week at school and he seems to enjoy the class. He commented on one painting saying it is called Fall landscaping. He also told mommy that the big trees are near and smaller ones are far.
