Zoo Time

Weather cooled down a little after much needed rain. We went to zoo for some family time.  The kids got to see some animals really close. Aiden spent quite a bit time watching penguins swim against the current. Mia had fun riding the train.

Sunday Fun at Museum

Weather is too hot to play outside so we went to childen's museum to have fun. A new show based on 3D movie Avatar replaced hot wheel show. Both kiddos liked to play bouncy balls and light up lego-like toy.

"Play" Together

Mia loves slide but she is very cautious type. She slides down sooo slow that sometimes it needs a little help from Aiden.

Swing, Swing

Mia loves swing and she has shown the interest in big kid swing. Tonight at park, Mia got on big kid swing and did very well. She also got some push from Aiden.

Spider Web Climbing

Aiden is quite a climber. Last year he was only able to climb to the first step of the spider web but this year he is able to climb almost all the way to the top of the web.

Today is a muggy day. After dinner we headed to West Park and cool off. As usual Aiden dived into the water without any warm up and Mia had to get her feet wet first before she got herself completely wet.

Lego Fun

We bought Aiden a jumbo lego wagon when he started walking and he loved to push them around. Now it is Mia's turn. She loves to stack the legos then push it around and final step is to destroy all.

Fun at Zoo on 4th July

We haven't been to zoo for quite a long time as we have been enjoying the children's museum. On 4th July, the weather was perfect for zoo. Aiden was so excited to go. Mia's first time zoo was when she was 2 weeks old so it was quite an experience for her too. She was intrigued with all animals and even tried to "talk" to them. Both kids liked dolphin show and loved train ride. Aiden also saw the tiger right in front of him and only about one foot away. Zoo has changed quite a bit since we were there about 1.5 years ago. Kids now can encounter with birds directly which was big fun for Mia.
