Memorial Day Weekend at Zoo

The weather couldn't have been better for the holiday weekend. We took kids to zoo on Sunday morning as the zoo welcomed some new friends - orangutan s. Kids like to watch them swing, climb and one of them got quite close to Mia's face and she freaked out and immediately stepped back. We also caught the fantastic dog show. Mia really liked the show and clapped when the crowds did.

Penny horse riding is kid's favorite thing to do while one of us is doing check out, especially Mia. Lately she loves to wear Aiden's buckeye hat.

Hand Made Mother's Day Card

Aiden brought home a hand made happy Mother's Day card. He did his own painting and writing. There is also framed picture of him. It was one of the best Mother's Day gift.

Horse Painting

Aiden's daycare has farm and farm animals theme this week. Aiden also partnered with another boy to be teachers on Tuesday. He went through the baby farm animal book during circle time. It was a great opportunity for him to  build leadership. He also drew a horse based on a real horse picture.
