Egg Hunting in Our Yard

We didn't make it to some public egg hunting this year due to the conflict with soccer. So we had kids hunt the Easter eggs in our yard on Easter afternoon since the weather was so nice. The kids had so much fun looking for eggs. Even Mia got he idea that she should hunt the eggs first rather than eating what is inside first. We did have to ask Aiden to take a little break so that Mia can catch up. They ended up similar amount of eggs. And of course we ended up with sugar high kids.

Easter Bunny at Soccer

Easter bunny was waiting for us on Saturday morning at soccer practice. Aiden is still not quite sure about hugging big bunny. Mia did give a hug and high five. But we did have time to get picture. When mommy finally too her back again for picture. She wasn't too sure about it either. She first ran away then came back  and gave the bunny a high five. But she surely kept distance from the bunny this time.

Kids went to he holiday park on Friday evening and did a lot of climbing. Great way to shed some winter "fat".

Mia's First Happy Visit to Dentist

Aiden, Mia and Mommy had their dentist visits altogether today. This is Mia's first time. Aiden has been doing pretty good and he can finish his whole session without mommy there. Mommy was a little concerned with Mia not sure if she would stay with the hygienist without mommy. But she did so well. She liked to sit on the dental chair which goes up and  down and tilt front and backwards. She let the dentist look over her teeth and count them. The hygienist also took picture of her for her file with bib and gloves on. Both of them got some stickers, toys and balloon which made their day.

Back to Zoo and Garden

It has been 4 months since we were at zoo for Christmas light. This Sunday the weather feels like a real spring and we headed to zoo after swimming class. Aiden said it is going to be a lot of fun. Even though not all animals are out but the kids did get a very CLOSE look of tiger. In fact it was just a piece of glass apart, Mia was quite scared of seeing big tiger that close. After zoo, we took a stroll in the garden and watched butterfly.
