Nice Sunday

After another nearly inch snow on Saturday morning, we finally had a nice sunny warmer Sunday. The kids could't wait to go to park and have some fun. The park has added a few spinners. Mia did some spin and as soon as she got off , she fell down from the dizziness. Aiden was running on the playground like wild horse.

Aiden has been learning weather from school and he brought some neat work home. He also drew some superhero picture. We still need to work on some letters writing and especially between capital and lower letters but he still did pretty well.

5 Year Check Up

Aiden had his 5-year check up today. He is 43 inches tall and weighs 35.6lbs. Skinny!! He did very well and was so happy to tell his doctor about his party and all the gifts he got from his friends. At the end he got two booster shots on arms and he was not too happy about that, and had a little scream out on one arm.

Lego, Lego, Lego

Aiden spent nearly whole day on Sunday to work on his Lego sets he got from his party with Daddy. Most sets he needed help from daddy as they are the miniature sets for 5-12 or 7-12, but one set is more for junior and he made the building all by himself. Lego has been great toys for us as Aiden can play with them for hours.

Aiden's 5th Birthday Party

Since this is the last year that Aiden is with his daycare friends as he will be enrolling Kindergarten this August, we invited his daycare friends for the party. We had 13 kids from his room and 4 more siblings showed at the party. It was a great party. Every kid had blast with the gymnastic activities including parachute, obstacle courses, rope swing, jumping into foam pool, balance bars. By the end, everybody was pretty much worn out. So they all enjoyed pizza and hot wheel cupcakes. Aiden really liked to be the center of attention and he scored so many presents: 6 sets of Legos, scooter, crayons, activity books, clothes, superhero games. Even Mia enjoyed self with bouncing, running around.

Happy 5th Birthday - Aiden

Aiden turns big five today. He is so excited since he has been counting down to his birthday. He says "I am a big boy" now. He picked up Mia's toy mess before we even asked him to and was very proud of himself. He had a party at daycare yesterday and said he got to stand on top of he chair and everybody sang the happy b-day song. Today Daddy took him to see new Lego movie and he got a transformer afterwards. Then we all headed to Chuck Cheese and both kids had blast playing the games and the ride. At the end Aiden redeemed the tickets and told us he got 94 tickets and each kid got a whistle after exchange the tickets. After he got home, he received a marble run from  Mommy and Daddy. And both kids got cool ice cream treats made like a cake. Yum!

After hibernating inside almost 3 months due to the HARSH winter, we finally had a fairly warm day (45 F) on Sunday. We couldn't wait to go to park. Kids had so much fun running on the playground.
