Fun Time on Driveway
We have a pretty long sloped driveway. Mia and Aiden have been having a lot of fun "racing" down to the end of driveway. Aiden of course goes down with his big wheel that he got for his b-day. Mia goes down in a car-shaped wagon. The little girl LOVES speed. When she goes down fast, she wiggles her body and BIG smile on her face.

Aiden is 4 !!
We are still having hard time to believe Aiden is turning 4 tomorrow. He is going to have a b-day party at school on Monday - the actual b-day. They will make cupcakes and have him and all other kids in his room decorate the cupcake on their own. He is going to have blast. Today we celebrate his fourth b-day at home with Mommy's friend Tiffany and her 2.5 year old son Bradley. It was quite busy morning as we lost an hour due to daytime saving. But we managed to get every ready for the noon party. We picked up the construction cake that we ordered on Tuesday and Aiden has been asking us every day when the cake will be ready. But guess what he didn't even eat any of his cake yet as he was more interested in his gifts. He also picked up a hot wheel balloon, of course!! He got a radio flyer big wheel and Lincoln log from Mommy and Daddy, got two books (dinotrux and there is nothing to do on Mars) from his little sister Mia. He got a handy Manny set from Tiffany. And he is going to get more gift from Grandpa and Grandma Zeigler when they return from Florida in a few weeks and Uncle Jason and Aunt Kim are coming down in the next couple of weeks for gifts too. So Aiden will be quite excited to see more b-day gifts! We also met with Leo (Aiden's school friend) after his party to play at monkey Joe - Aiden's favorite bouncy place to play!

Big Girl's Breakfast Time
Mia brought Daddy an empty bowl and asked for breakfast while Daddy and Aiden were eating their cheerios for breakfast. So Daddy put her on the chair without a booster seat and she sat so well and was able to reach inside the bowel to get cheerios even though she still needs more practice on using spoon.

Happy Graham Note
Aiden got another happy Graham Note (a note from teacher to parents to appraise good behavior, learning progress etc). The note said Aiden not only recognize all his letter but also knows the sound of all letters. He is also learning how to write the letters too and so far can write about half of the letters. Arts, books reading and computer are his favoriate activities at school. He also has huge improvement on his soccer on the weekend. He follows instruction so much better and he can even goal once or twice per session even though sometimes it is the wrong goal, but hey, we think it is good enough for a 4 year old. He does get a little upset if he doesn't get enough ball time.
Mia's 15 Month Stats
Mia just had her 15 month check up this Thursday. The little girl finally slims down some. :P Her height is 32 inches (90%) and weighs 23lbs 1oz (74%). She got two shots which made her really mad and screamed on top of her lung. she is still sleeping and eating well. She is now trying to use spoon to feed herself but usually ends up picking up the food by fingers. She still eats everything we give her, but she starts showing preference over the food. She always takes the first bite but if she doesn't like it, she usually wouldn't take another bite.
She waves bye now and says "bye" as well. She can say thank you in English, younger sister (meimei) in Chinese, older brother (gege) in Chinese. She says "gaga" during bath when playing with rubber duckies. She recognizes her nose and belly. She likes rough housing with Aiden but usually ends up with crying. As she gets older, she starts showing sign of jealousy over Aiden. She wants Daddy to hold her if Daddy is holding Aiden. She used to sit well in the cart while shopping, now she wants to get down to explore.
Overall, she is a happy and easy little girl!
