Per Chinese tradition, 100 days after the baby's birth, relatives will send gifts for the baby. This is an important day for the baby because 100 days birth celebration represents the wish that the baby will live 100 years. So we got a small ice cream cake to celebrate and guess who is the beneficiary of Mia's 100 day celebration. Of course it is Aiden as he LOVES ice cream cake.

Mia's 3-month Portrait
We did 3, 6, 9 and 12-month portrait for Aiden and plan to do the same thing for Mia. So we took her to JCP for her 3-month portrait. Aiden didn't really cooperate at the beginning but once the photographer showed him the wooden train and he did a few poses with Mia. Mia also did fairly good job and only fussed a couple of times but was easy to get calm down. She did smile when the photographer teased her but unfortunately she didn't capture it in the picture.
Mia Rolls Over
Mia is 3 months 5 days old today. This morning, we had her do tummy time. And guess what, she rolled over from tummy to back on her right side. We thought that was accidental, then we put her back on her tummy and she did again. Mommy was able to capture her first major milestone on the video. Aiden didn't start roll over after 7 months old as he was back sleeper and Mia is a side sleeper which I think helps her to roll over earlier.

Playtime on Playmat
Aiden never really showed any interest to the playmat while he was at Mia's age. But now we start putting Mia on the playmat and of course he wanted to squeeze in there too! Sibling competitions!!

3-month old Mia
Mia is 3-month old today. She weighs about 15lbs and measures about 25 inches. She has fairly good head control now and she just recently realized she has hands as she would raise her hand and stared at it for quite a while. She also really enjoyed playmat and can entertain herself for at least half an hour by watching the animals and even grabbing them. Her longest sleeping at night can stretch about 5-6 hours but not really consistently.

SnapperzFun
We were invited to an co-worker's son's b-day party last month and party was held in the place called snapperzfun where they have big bounce houses, bumper car, wall climbing, bowling, games etc. Aiden had so much fun in the bouncy house and he went up and down more than 20 times in a row. Last weekend, we brought him back to the place to wear him out so that he would fall asleep early at night :P. Again, he had a lot of fun but he was bummed out that he couldn't get on bumper car as they require 44 inches tall and no company from parents. Some of the pictures are quite blurry as he was going down the slides fast and camera wasn't fast enough to capture the good pictures.

Mia's First Valentine's Day
This is Mia's first Valentine's day. Mommy dressed her in a green onesie with "I love Daddy" but unfortunately she blew out her diaper and stained the shirt. :(
Grandma Li was holding her and had ladybug beanie ball in front of her. She was quite interested in the ball and cooed to the ball for a long time. We were only able to catch a little cooing in the video.

Happy Valentine's Day
The evening before Valentine's day, Aiden and Mia got valentine's card from Grandparents Zeigler. Aiden liked the card a lot as it is a choo choo train card. On the Valentine's day morning, Aiden got a bumble bee beanie ball and Mia got a ladybug beanie ball from us. Aiden first thought both balls are for him and we told him that ladybug was for Mia. Then Aiden said "I have two", but was told that he would need to share toys from now on. He liked to throw the beanie ball and watched them standing on their feet. Mom also baked some heart shaped sugar cookies for Daddy and Aiden. Mommy got a big box of chocolate from Daddy and a sweet valentine's card from Daddy and kids. Aiden also got to wear his new sPJ to school today as today school has PJ day for Valentine's party. On top of all of that, Aiden also got another car Ramone from Daddy's coworker. What a Happy Valentine's morning for Aiden!!
