Trick or Treat in Neighborhood

We asked Aiden if he wanted to play puzzle or go outside for trick or treat after dinner tonight. He said trick or treat. So we put his buckeye outfit on and headed out. This is Aiden's first time to do trick or treat in our neighborhood. He thought we were going to get in the car and go somewhere and cried some when we told him that we were going to walk around neighborhood. He wasn't too sure when we knocked on the first house, but he still said trick or treat when Mommy told him to and even said Happy Halloween after he got candy. After the first house, we found Aiden was natural for trick or treat. He was really into the whole trick or treat and really liked to get candies and put in his bucket. He said trick or treat and thank you for each house we hit. We hit about 10 houses close by and Aiden's bucket was almost full and he told us it is heavy. So we headed back and Aiden ate some M&M he got for himself.

Spooktacular at Daycare

Aiden's daycare had trick or treat called "Spooktacular" on Friday evening before Halloween. We didn't have luck to get Aiden wear his meerkat costume, but luckily he loved the ohio state buckeye outfit that Grandma got him and it was actually a sleep and play set. But it surely fooled many people and they thought it was Halloween costume and even asked me where I got it. Thanks to Grandma Zeigler. Last year, during the same event, Aiden had no clue what was going on at all. But this year, he clearly knew that he could go around the daycare and asked for candies and put them in his bag. Interestingly, he wasn't afraid of witches with ugly black or green face who handed the candies. Instead, he was really scared of snow white and refused to go near her for candies. He was also afraid of a super turtle but wasn't afraid of the red dog clifford and even gave him a hug and high five. Not quite sure what is into this little head. And we also indulged him with some candies that night and he was wired before bed and didn't go down until 10PM. But it was Friday night and he had fun with trick or treat!

ZooBoo

So far we had no luck to get Aiden to wear his meerkat costume for Halloween. He screamed when we tried to put it on at home. We thought he would let us put it on when we took him to zoo for zooboo since many children there were wearing costumes. But apparently we were wrong, he still refused to put costume on, so we had to do the trick or treat in his regular orange shirt. We do have a Brutus sleep and play from Grandma and hopefully he will let us put it on for his daycare party this Friday.

Fun Time in Conner Prairie

We had a great fall day today after a few cold rainy days. It is sunny and warm. Grandparents Zeigler came down to Indy and we went to Conner Prairie Museum in Fisher for the first time. Aiden had so much fun running around, petting the animals and of course a short play on train table. He walked the whole time for more than 2 hours and at the end, he found it was fun to rolling down the hill too.

Kiss Little Sister

Since Daddy got Aiden's big brother's book, Aiden has been wanting to read that book every night and he calls the book "little sister book". With the help of the book, I think he starts getting the idea of what's going on. When we ask him where is his lil sister, he will point at my belly and he will rub and kiss the belly if asked to.

Pumpkin Patch

Afer play in the park, we went to Spencer Farm in Noblesville to pick up some pumpkins and mums. We took a hay ride around the farm and tractor driver dropped us in the pumpkin patch. After we boarded on the tractor, the farm dog was also on. Aiden was sitting with Daddy and the dog licked his cheek and he got scared and wanted to sit with Mommy after that. This year, the pumpkins looked great and most of them are still alive. We were told to lift our feet high while walking in the patch to avoid tripping. Aiden did great job walking there and only fell twice. One time by the vine and the other time by a small pumpkin. We got one small pumpkin for Aiden and got one big pot pretty yellow mums for Mom.

Play in the Forest Park

We headed to forest park to play on Sunday morning. It was sunny but a little chilly. We found there was a pumpkin patch train ride today but since we have just taken a train ride on Independence day, we decided to watch the trains. Aiden saw how the old diesel engine hooked with old cabooses and pulled them. Then we went to the playground and had some fun.
