Father's Day

We were planning to do a train ride from Noblesville downtown to Forest park where a Dad's day vintage car show was held. We got to downtown on time and waited for train for about 20 minutes and learned that Dad's day train ride was cancelled because of equipment failure. WHAT A BOMBER!! We were so disappointed since this was supposed to be Aiden's first time to ride on REAL train. Then we headed out to forest park to see the carshow. There weren't as many cars as we expected due to the rain but it was fairly decent show. Aiden was overwhelmed by all the cars!! Then we headed off to Don Pablo's for Daddy's day lunch.

Bubble Bath

We got new bubble bath for Aiden during grocery shopping. Daddy forgot to read the instruction and put too much bubble into Aiden's bath. But Aiden had fun of playing with bubbles.

Aiden's First Soccer Class

Aiden started his first soccer class this Saturday morning in Off the Wall program. He belongs to little thumper group. We got there about 10 minutes earlier and Aiden really liked to kick the ball with Daddy back and forth especially there were so MANY soccer balls on the field. There were 10 kids in his group with two coaches. The first class started with some warm-up exercise like stretching, stomping and running. Aiden didn't seem to be quite interested in warm-up by not following instructions. But after the warm up, when there were more activities and he enjoyed it better. He liked to stack all the cones and then kicked them. He liked to lay on the big sheet and got thrown into the middle with other kids. He also liked to help coach to put away the cones and balls. Of course, he liked to kick the ball. We will see he does next week.

Girlie Sunglasses

We found a little girl's sunglasses in Aiden's school bag. It must have been accidentally put into Aiden's bag by teacher. But we tried it on Aiden to see if he was interested in wearing sunglasses. I think he liked it a lot and looked hilarious.

Trying to put it on

hmm, it is different to watch cartoon with sunglasses

Superman!

I showed Aiden how Superman flies in the car ride one time. Since then he loves to do the Superman arms. Today he was playing with Daddy on the floor and Daddy lifted him up as he was flying. He did Superman flying and it was cute and fun.

Water Play Day

It is hot and humid today. After Aiden's long nap, we put on Aiden's new swimming suit and took him to the park for water play. At the beginning, he wouldn't let Daddy put him down. I think he freaked out a little by the cold water. But once he got used to the water temperature, he loved to walk in the water and ran inside the water spray and told us "it is raining".

Aiden's First Play Day

Aiden had his first official play day with his buddy from daycare on May 21st. We arrived at their home around 9:30 am and Aiden was a little surprised to see his buddy outside the daycare. His buddy was quite happy to see him on the weekend. Then they were off to play with the cars and trains. It was fun to watch them to play for nearly 2 hours. Half of the time they were playing together and the other half time they were off doing their own thing. There were a couple of cries over the toys, but they were very short cries and both were distracted easily with other toys. When we left, they gave each other a big hug. So cute!
