Aiden's Drawing

Aiden has been taking some art program during after school time at his school. He has been doing pretty good job on his animals.

Build a Bear Workshop

Mia was invited to a build a bear birthday party and Aiden went along as well. She chose a dog and picked a pink super outfit for her dog. Aiden made a batman bear. It was fun for the kids as they saw how to pump the air to get the fillings into the stuffed animals and used brush to make their stuffed animals fluffy. They also put a heart in the bear.

Mia's Little Bunny

Mia asked Mom to draw a bunny for her and she followed with mommy. She did decent job on her bunny. She colored Mom's and hers after we finished our bunny.

Outdoor Play at Daycare

Mia's daycare has been sending some good pictures of Mia playing with her friend outside. They all looked happy to be outside even though it is still chilly out.

Children's Museum on President's Day

Both kids are off school on Presidents' Day so Mommy took a day off and spent a day with kids at Children's museum. We visited the new exhibit of Nijia warrior where kids tried out the skateboard and passing through the laser beams. We also saw a very cool black car for Star Wars. It was a lot of fun for kids and of course a busy day for Mom as she had to make sure they stayed together as there were so many kids in the museum!

Mia's Eye Shadow

Mia got a blue stamp after the soccer. But she wiped her eye with her hand and her eye lid turned blue. She looked like she just got eye make up. When Aiden saw her, his first question was "Did Mia get hit in the eye?"

Mia's New Hairstyle

Mommy tried to braid Mia's hair today. We think she looks good but she told us that she only wants one pony tail!

Happy Birthday Mommy

It is Mommy's birthday today. We went out to an Italian restaurant and had yummy dinner. Then off to home for a delicious ice cream cake.

Mia's Chinese Dragon

The kids make paper dragon in the art class for Chinese New Year. Mia's dragon got a lot of help from Daddy as there were a lot of cutting involved.

Chinese Spring Festival

Today is Chinese New Year and it is Monkey year. The kids dressed up and got pictures taken with "double fish".

Mia's First Ponytail

We have been letting Mia's hair grow but she refused to let us put anything on her hair. So mommy started with a little pony tail still with most of the back hair down. This morning Mommy found the ladybug hair band she got when Mia was a baby and she actually let mommy do the full ponytail!

Mia's First Art Class

Mia has been watching Aiden taking art class on Saturday and recently she has shown some interest in taking the class too. We did have to sit down with her to help with some cutting and some drawing instructions but she did well with her polar bear for the first class.

Mia's Daycare Life

Mia has been learning writing letters, numbers at daycare. She also does a lot of craft with different media. If the weather gets warm, she even gets outside to play with her friends.

Aiden's Play Date with Friend

Aiden got invited to his friend's birthday party and it was Lego themed. He paired up with his friend and built a robot alligator which chomps and bites. Since they had so much fun, he got invited again to his friend's house for play date on Friday afternoon after school.

New Year Eve 2015

We spent our last day of 2015 by strolling around the downtown Savannah streets. The city added more playground in the parks and there is a nice playground in the Forsyth Park where kids spent most of the morning there. For the rest of afternoon, we just walked around the streets, checked out some of the city squares.

Night Walk at River Street - Savannah

Before the kids came along, we visited Savannah about 9 years ago. This time we brought the kids here and we did night walk on the River Street where kids enjoyed checking out the cruise ship,sail boat which they called pirate ship. We stopped by the famous sweet shop to get some chocolate and hand dipped ice cream.

Legoland - Day 2

We watched a spectacular fireworks in Legoland. We had to wear 3D glasses to see the special effect the fireworks which we can see all the Lego bricks through the 3D glasses. We went back to Legoland the next day but it was very warm and hit 88 record high. Mia finally did Royal Joust ride which she couldn't do in April due to age limit. She thought it was fun to ride the horse. Both kids also did Duplo farm train ride together.
